MMPC stands for “mobile modular processing concept”.
MMPC is Doppstadt’s mobile modular plant concept in which mobile standard machines are combined to create an application-specific recycling and processing solution. The concept is suitable for different requirements and material streams.
An MMPC plant can consist of shredders, screening technology, sorting technology, air separators, conveying technology and other units. The exact configuration depends on the input material, target quality, available space and legal requirements.
Can I integrate existing machines or third-party equipment? Existing units or third-party equipment can generally be assessed for integration. Important factors include controlled material flow, technical interface compatibility and a continuous emergency-stop interlock.
The plant concept can be implemented with diesel or electric drive. For electric plants, possible funding options can be assessed on a project-specific basis.
As a rule, approval under the German Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) is required, as well as waste-management permits, for example for handling, storage, shredding, screening and air separation. The specific permit situation depends on the location and application and should be assessed individually.

A standard concept requires approximately 20 × 30 metres; more space may be required depending on the number of components.

The planning duration of an MMPC plant depends on the project scope, input material, existing infrastructure and permit situation. An initial technical assessment can be provided at short notice once the essential project data has been supplied. Further scheduling is carried out on a project-specific basis.
For an initial project assessment, information is required on the material type, material composition, annual volume, desired output quality, available space, infrastructure and permit status. Photos, site plans, material analyses, samples and information on existing operating processes are also helpful.
An initial technical assessment differs from detailed plant, layout or permit planning. Doppstadt does not charge separate planning costs as part of the project. Depending on the scope, external planning costs may arise that are beyond our control. Whether and to what extent planning costs arise should be agreed on a project-specific basis.
Doppstadt can provide technical plant descriptions, machine data and project-relevant information. Assessments under permitting law are generally carried out by the operator, specialist planners, engineering firms, assessors or the competent authorities. If required, Doppstadt can support the technical coordination.
Yes. The mobile modular MMPC concept generally allows additional units or process steps to be integrated. Interfaces, available space, material flow and safety-related interconnections are assessed on a project-specific basis.
What role does occupational safety play in the MMPC concept? Occupational safety is a central element of plant planning. Factors taken into account include material flow, accessibility, operating and maintenance areas, traffic routes and the safety-related interconnection of the units used. The specific assessment is carried out on a project-specific basis in coordination with the operator.
Yes. Machines and plant components are integrated into an overarching emergency-stop interlock. The specific design depends on the plant layout, the machines used and the applicable safety requirements.
Automated processing steps can reduce manual intervention and thereby help improve working conditions. Where manual sorting stations remain necessary, safe access, suitable workstations and project-specific protective measures must be planned.
Does Doppstadt provide instruction for operating personnel? Yes. As part of commissioning, operating personnel are instructed in the units used. The scope and depth of the instruction are coordinated with plant management and adapted to the personnel’s level of experience, the scope of the plant and their area of responsibility.
